This is my idea. I heard a lot of people complaining only a small part of
their flight was paid back, or others (smarter!) persons admitted they had
to search for other sources of funding.
Like I stated on the form, all entries will be made anonymous before
analysing and discussing (removal of username, changing city of departure
into country of departure).
Casey, like you said, probably not everybody wants to discuss this on an
open wiki. That's the reason I started the private questionnaire. You can
trust me on this (just ask Lodewijk[?]).

Hey,
On the Wikimania
wiki<http://wikimania2011.wikimedia.org/wiki/Feedback#Scholarships>we have some
discussions on the best way to organize the "partial
scholarships". We want to prevent that people from countries far away from
the venue (Australia, Canada, thirld world countries, ...) stay home because
the partial scholarship does not help them enough. We don't want them all to
request a full scholarship, either.
Thanks for looking into these questions. I'm very interested in feedback
on how we might make the scholarships work better next time.
Cheers,
Katie
Please help us for the next conference, and fill in the questionnaire on
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dG1BaUJHZkpJS2…
Everybody can fill in this form (even if you didn't attend, or didn't find
funding), so send this to everybody that wanted to come!
Grtz,
Maarten
