Just looked at the map now, since our competition hasn't started, and would
like to ask: on what basis/category are the monuments retrieved from
Wikidata? Since we didn't make lists on Wikidata in Israel, it's normal
that our monuments don't show up, but there are a few that do show up in
Israel from Wikidata, and they contain duplicates and just some overall
weirdness (plus, they are not necessarily on our lists). Are they UNESCO
sites? What are the categories used?
Thanks,

This is a great tool.
Thanks.
I am uploading/updating in wikidata the list of
monuments for Greece now,
and i have tested uploading from the map. There is a feature request: when
uploading from the lists hosted on Commons we also include a template (
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Monument_templates) with the
wlm id. It would be easy (I guess) to fill it using Property:P2186, if it
exists in Wikidata.
Monument identifier depends from country to country. Right now only
countries listed on landing page are fully supported (Ireland, Sweden, UK,
Poland) and in that case identifier is added. We want to include more
countries, but we need their monuments on Wikidata first, visualizing it is
the last step :).
