We are pleased to share this update with you, regarding the Wiki Indaba
2023 conference <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WikiIndaba_conference_2023>
which will take place in Agadir <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agadir>,
Morocco from 3th-5th November 2023.
The organizing team would like to inform you that this year’s theme will be
“Tweeza <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tweeza>: Empowering Africa through
Knowledge-sharing and Collaboration” and the call for proposals is now
open. Please submit your proposals for workshops, discussions and
presentations. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2023. For more

In order to have a good preparation, especially considering the visa
applications, we would also like to inform you that the scholarship
application is open as well. Through this form

(available in Arabic, French, and English), all interested candidates can
apply for a scholarship to join the conference. The international
scholarships will cover airlines, ground travel, accommodation and
catering, and Visa fee for Active African Wikimedians in Africa and
Diaspora and other mission-aligned institutions in the Open knowledge
movement. There will also be scholarships for participants in Morocco, to
enable local Wikimedians to join this conference.
The scholarship application is open until June 30, 2023.

لتمكين الويكيميديين المحليين من الانضمام إلى هذا المؤتمر.

conférence Wiki Indaba 2023

L'équipe organisatrice tient à vous informer que le thème de cette année

par le partage des connaissances et la collaboration" et que l'appel à
propositions est maintenant ouvert. Veuillez soumettre vos propositions
d'ateliers, de discussions et de présentations. La date limite de

Afin d’assurer une bonne préparation, notamment en ce qui concerne les
demandes de visa, nous tenons également à vous informer que les demandes de

internationales couvriront les billets d’avion, les déplacements
terrestres, l'hébergement et la restauration, ainsi que les frais de visa
pour les Wikimédiens africains actifs au sein du continent et dans la
diaspora, ou membres d'autres institutions alignées sur la mission du
mouvement du savoir ouvert. Il y aura également des bourses pour les
participants marocains, afin de permettre aux Wikimédiens locaux de se
joindre à cette conférence.
Les demandes de bourse seront ouvertes jusqu'au 30 juin 2023.
