Magna Carta: a document of which at least three
versions were made at
the time; which was reissued by every subsequent leader for a century;
and where almost every item involved had the effect of confirming the
status quo with regards to something insanely trivial and obscure.
Given what the community would make of it, the analogy could be more
apt than anticipated...
And, if memory serves, about 90% of it is one off agreements relevant
only to the time it was signed.
