The overall significance of the English Wikipedia's "AFD" process is
probably lower than you think. Our goal is to build a better
encyclopedia. The programmers' goal is to build better general-purpose
software for web sites.
Commons manages to have a "nominate for deletion" link in the sidebar,
even when logged out. Is this all done locally?
