Any of which people, Kelly? Are you gonna categorize me, too?
There are multiple issues I've seen raised:
1. Userboxes in general are silly. This doesn't justify unilateral
action, which is what people have been asking you to aknowledge.
2. That there are copyright issues with userbox images. Those have to
be dealt with, but unilateral deletion wasn't the right solution there
either--removing the images would've sufficed.
3. I've also heard (from Tony, I'm not sure if you've said it), that
many userboxes are being used for inappropriate vote-garnering. If
that's true, we can darn well build a consensus to delete them.
What I'd like to aknowledge, as an admin who doesn't care about
userboxes either way but thinks that respecting consensus is good for
our community, is that you ought to have done more talking and less
deleting. Is that so unreasonable?

contributors' opinions was an overreaction.
This continues to be founded in the mistaken notion that I disapprove
of user boxes. Until you people actually read and understand what
I've had to say about why I did what I did, I have no real incentive
to "negotiate" with any of you.
