OK, so... I often deal with language names, and I don't always bring it up with the Language committee, because it is usually not controversial. I think I'll summarize it like this: 1. There are patches already. Once there is a decision, they just need to be merged, and they'll be deployed to the live Wikipedia a few days later: a. https://github.com/wikimedia/language-data/pull/160 b. https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/core/+/693571/ 2. It's difficult to determine what is "authoritative" here. 3. The replies at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Forum#The_local_name_of_Lombard_l… appear to be reasonable. Most variants listed there say "lombard". 4.
