The label of the Summary field in the VisualEditor is "Edit Summary
(Briefly describe the changes you have made)". And the placeholder text is
"Describe what you changed". This is redundant. I think retaining this
label and changing the placeholder text to something on the lines of what
Prateek suggested might be a good idea.

Along with fine tuning the label of the Summary field
adding
placeholder text in the input box like "The X was Y" might help set
the tone of what the editor ends up writing. Deciding what the the
text would actually be would be a longer discussion.
