Well, when I want to create an article, I just go to the article URL
(nowadays I even type the name into the box in the Wikipedia FF
toolbar) and start typing in content; I'm sure many other experienced
users do the same. However, I'm sure its helpful for newbies who can't
go around linking to their article all the time.
