In my knowledge, no matter it's Mandarin, Minnan, or Cantonese, we all
keep the "I".

Where there is a drop-out should rather be Japanese, they say a lot
"Aishiteru.", omitting both the subject and the object. The Koreans
also often say only "Saranghae yo" or "Johahae yo".
