And a comment could be that people are not forced to register to that 
list, and could very well get informed by other means than this list, 
hence little loss if they decide not to subscribe.

However, if I want to understand you, I have no other choice than 
reading your very long and very circonvoluted mails. And I believe that 
this is the first time I mention your mails are problematic to me. And I 
tried to say it politely Chad. I am not word playing here unfortunately.
