So make the email text and include a link to the HTML web page.

High geek factor? In my mail client HTML email shows as the HTML.

Perhaps you could encode the entire thing in Flash. Then it could be
animated as well and have a soundtrack. Surely that would be *far* superior
to mere HTML.
