The [[m:Elections for the Board of Trustees of the
Wikimedia Foundation]] page has been translated into
Japanese and is linked to from their recent changes.
They have a contact page for non-Japanese-speakers at
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Contact_us_for_non-japanese-speakers
if you want to ask them directly about it. If you do
speak Japanese, they use a bulletin board at
http://taurus.kake.info.waseda.ac.jp/wikip/joyful/joyful.u.cgi
rather than a village pump. You might get more of a
response at either of those places than on this
mailing list.
