Exactly! I wrote essentially the same thing on the English Village pump 
several hours ago.

Yep. The whole point of wiki is to make mark-up fast and easy. Having a  
half-broken edit tool bar just causes confusion, however. Best then to leave 
it out entirely for any browser that can't take full advantage of it.
