I think it is because we are not listed in the "encyclopedias" category
at dmoz.org, 
http://www.dmoz.org/Reference/Encyclopedias/

but rather 

http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Open_Source/Open_Content/Encyclopedias/

I have written to them about this, but you know how dmoz is, not
always responsive.
