Come on Fantasy, Heinz is a known troll, don't take this serious.
But it is true that many German Wikipedias (and I'm one of them) think
that things are evolving much too slow, and that there isn't much we can
do about it. Our servers have been much too slow most of the time, but
Ibiblio has offered to host parts of the project or the whole thing if
we wanted. I'm sure others would also host Wikipedia with greatest
pleasure. But Jimbo has rejected this offer.
Now we are waiting for him to fill out the foundation's request for tax
exempt status, to open a German/European bank account, to buy a new
server, etc.
I know this sounds ungrateful, and I'm sorry for this. I adore Jimbo for
what he has done, and I'm very thankful that he has spend so much money
on the project. But it's also true that he's a bottle-neck like most
benevolent dictators are.
Kurt
