[Wikipedia-l] Do we really need a Sifter project?

I don't like this idea.

Quality assurance should be done by Wikipedians within Wikipedia.
It is doable and I am sure that the community can handle this issue
brilliantly.
The Sifter idea was a compromise but a better proposal than using dead
Nupedia.
