What it is so revolting to have some colors on the main page?

Why have concerned with style mean necessary haven't concerned with content?

Can't we have concerned with both?

Sure all those things are POV, but don't believe in illusion, all in
Wikipedia is POV.

Just as an example, the name of our project, Wikipedia, comes from a Latin
word carrying western notions and can be consider as not fully NPOV.

Knowledge sharing must not be necessary a cold thing, keep cool :o)

About the Christmas logo:

- First, contrarily to English world Christmas, French translation "Noel"
doesn't make any allusion to the Christ. I don't see well the religious
issue. Personally, I have more concern in commercial issue of this
celebration ;o)

- Secondly, if you really think encyclopedia must stay a cold thing, what
about to put the logo only in user, meta and talk pages?
