[Wikipedia-l] forgotten history

This bug is affecting a great many articles so I was wondering if the lost 
histories of articles will be restorable en masse or will each and every 
article's history will have to be restored manually? 

Also, is there an ETA when this bug will be fixed? Its pretty sad when users 
have to use Google to view old versions of articles or else manually edit the 
URL to get to the read-only version of the old database and software (which 
is a non-obvious work-around only known by a select few).
