[Wikipedia-l] can't delete subpages

I have deleted Transportation, Transnational Issues, and Communications.
I'm not convinced that you have incorporated all useful information from
the other subpages; for example, I find it interesting that the governor
of Svalbard does not report to the king but rather to the Polar
Department of the Ministry of Justice.

I have integrated the subpages of [[Svalbard]] into the main article.

Every time I try to delete the subpages, I get a 404 error. But as long
as
I leave
them there, people keep putting them back into the [[Svalbard]] article,
ignoring
the comments on the talk page.

Can someone go into the database and get rid of these pages, so they'll
stop
turning up in "orphans".
