It was broken HTML in any case; the <style> element is illegal except in 
the <head>...</head> section. On top of that, it was missing the 
required "type" attribute.

As has been hinted at previously, we should have a standard method of 
including style sheet information, preferably that can be applied to 
many articles simultaneously. For instance, a magic [[style:]] namespace 
(or if that's trouble, something else).
