I don't know if you need to be an ONA member to screen for the awards; I
think possibly you don't.

This is a fun way to get an overview of what's going on in online
journalism :-)

Sue Gardner Senior Director, CBC.CA CBC.CA Hello ONA, The May 31
deadline for submissions for the 2008 Online Journalism Awards is fast
approaching. For information including how to submit, please visit:
http://journalists.org/awards/ <http://journalists.org/awards/> Want to
have a say in the outcome of the Awards? Sign up to be a screener of the
Awards. In past years, screeners have found the process to be a great
opportunity to review some of the best work on the Web. Often, they see
examples of great online journalism that they would not otherwise have
seen. As a thank you to screeners who step up and complete their
assignments early, the ONA is offering an incentive. The first 20 who
finish screening all their assigned sites will receive free registration
to this year's ONA conference, Sept. 11-13, at the Capital Hilton in
Washington, D.C., worth $399 for members and $699 for non members. To
sign up, please visit: http://journalist.org/awards/archives/001112.php

very excited to present a regional conference brought to you in
partnership with the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News
and the Associated Press. This one-day training session on Friday, June
6 will bring together leaders in their respective digital media fields
to give advice, hints and tips about how to succeed online. For more
information and to register:
