Dear friends,

Tomasz Finc has already informed about their sessions in GNUnify.

Being part of the organising team, sending some more information about
the conference and wikipedia track there. (Could not send this info
earlier as things were getting crystalised a bit late for this track.)

GNUnify (www.gnunify.in) is a FOSS (Free/open source software)
conference happening annually in Pune. It is conducted by PLUG (Pune
Linux Users Group www.plug.org.in) and SICSR (Symbiosis Institue of
Computer Studies and Research www.symbiosiscomputers.com )

This is the 9th year of GNUnify. The conference is sponsored by
Mozilla Corporation. It will be held on 11th and 12th February, 2011,
from 9:30am to 5:30pm, at SICSR, Model Colony, Pune.

This year, for the first time, we are going to have a track on Wikipedia !!!

Tomasz Finc and Arthur Richards from the technical team of WMF are
coming from US for the conference.

Also, we will have some more sessions on understanding what Wikipedia
is, editing, commons, wikipedia in schools, Indic language editing;
their problems and solutions and other QA sessions.

All further details of this track will be published soon on the
website gnunify.in

You are all invited to join the conference. (Not just for the
Wikipedia related sessions but for all other sessions too.)

The conference is free for all. There are no registration fees.
Delegate registration is already on. Please register on the website
and join us in the conference !!!

For registration and more information about the tracks and schedules,
please visit the event website www.gnunify.in

Best regards,
