[Wikimediaau-l] Wikimania 2010 bid idea: joint-bid with iSummit?

I still stand by the idea of Brisbane being the best place to host, and if
we can piggyback another conference or gathering onto the back of it, that
can only enhance our prospects. Not to mention the fact that we could pool
our resources and get good economy by sharing locations, etc.

I think that UQ would be interested in collaborating on another bid, and if
we can get QUT on board as well, that would be two of the three big
Queensland universities. I really think that this would be a golden
opportunity for us.
