I have skimmed through the financial statement and the FAQ, and have
two questions (for now):

* [1] Page 11 of the FS mentions "other operating expenses" at
US$10,017,121 -- Foundation's second biggest spending after salary and
wages. What constitutes this very vague category of expenses? (I see 
this was mentioned in the FAQ, but it misses US$1,9 million.)

* [2] Page 2 of the FAQ mentions "revenue from merchandise sales" as
part of "other income". How much money does the Foundation make through
merchandise sales? I've been told so far that the Wikimedia Shop does
not generate any money because so much merchandise is given for free to
volunteers, so this is new information for me.

And just as a copy-editing note, page 12 of the FS mentions
"Foundation's multimedia repository"; it should perhaps say
"Foundation's multimedia repository Wikimedia Commons", as there are 
much more files if you add up all local Wikipedias and other projects.

And to end this on a happier note, perhaps we should mention more often 
the US$228,218 in hosting services & bandwidth donated by LeaseWeb, 
Teliasonera, Tele2 and Datahop. Big thanks to these four companies! :-)
