We already have Special:Nearby
<https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Nearby> It shouldn't be a
great leap to make (the back end of) that page emit a KML file (it's a
list of geocoded articles, after all) and pass them to Google., or
indeed another KML-compatible service.
