If that's their intent, yeah, that's annoying.
At the minimum, until they are affiliated, they should avoid doing this
to limit the confusion (temporary logo and adoption of purple/pink brand
colors :)).
After affiliation, I suppose they may have the officially declared name
(which will hardly be used) and the day-to-day name.
