Google is a service site too, and a better-designed one than Commons.

If I search for cream pie, and I want to find cakes, I leave safe search on:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=creampie&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbm=isch&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1066&bih=638&uss=1#um=1&hl=en&safe=active&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=cream+pie&pbx=1&oq=cream+pie&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=s&gs_upl=3991l3991l0l6210l1l1l0l0l0l0l181l181l0.1l1l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=3cd2d48ee7786b1a&biw=1066&bih=638

If I search for cream pie and want to find porn, I switch safe search off:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?um=1&hl=en&tbm=isch&q=cream+pie&pbx=1&oq=cream+pie&aq=f&aqi=&gs_upl=3991l3991l0l6210l1l1l0l0l0l0l181l181l0.1l1l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1066&bih=638&uss=1

I know Google caters to both "cultures", but I can decide beforehand what it will show me.

That is good service.

Andreas
