Exactly. Citizendium started with the ambition of improving the
Wikipedia article base, but quickly realised this didn't encourage
work so cleared those out and got to work on being their own project.
And they're doing okay - just broke 5000 articles, decent community,
would probably survive Larry Sanger being hit by a bus tomorrow.
There's occasional outbreaks of pissy sniping between some Wikipedians
and some Citizens, but in lots of very deep and important ways
Wikipedia and CZ are on the same side.
