For those of us who are generally critical of the election process for board
members, having *any* lingering concerns about the actual techniques used to
conduct the elections themselves simply further undermines the confidence
anyone should have in the validity of this exercise.

Jan-Bart, since you seem to be the lead spokesperson on this, I urge you to
again state with precision the degree to which WMF and SPI have separated
themselves.  We know who the election personnel are on the community side.
Who are the individuals with the key on the SPI side?  Where are the
guarantees this is not capable of being gamed?
