A somewhat off topic question, but I wanted to make sure this was clear.
Is Erik authorized to speak to other groups (such as the FSF) as a
representative of the Wikimedia foundation?
In the past I've encountered confusion when speaking to folks at the
FSF whom thought they'd been told something official by the foundation
but they hadn't. I think we need to keep track of who is speaking
for us today, and make sure that they aren't saying things which are
inconsistent with the work in various areas that other people have
been working on.
Thanks.
