It was just a scratch pad sort of thing, and after some discussion we
realized it was not needed.
It was proposed originally because in the TRON case in Germany, it was
thought that the foundation might need to directly intervene in the
case. This was ultimately not needed.
In order to intervene in the case, our German lawyer indicated that we
would need to have a very clean set of documents showing that the lawyer
was authorized to act on our behalf, including a clear resolution from
the board about the responsibilities of the President. So we started
drafting a resolution to help with that, and then it ended up that we
did not need it after all.
