This, to me, seems to be the crux of the English Wikipedia policy. I
guess I am not alone in feeling that English Wikipedia vandal fighters
having to read a few extra edits to check whether they are good or
not, is better than choosing to instantaneously block all non-Latin
usernames, when considering the size of the effect on English
Wikipedia vandal fighters compared to the thousands of
non-Latin-alphabet-using Wikimedia editors who may wish to easily edit
English Wikipedia once SUL is introduced.
