Just a minor correction: Your claim is factually inaccurate. Enwiki
can go on blocking non latin charset names. SUL can go about its merry
way. The result will be that users with non-latin names will need to
create a second account. This is not an ideal situation by anyone's
judgement, but it is not an incompatibility.
