Hoi,
The fact that it is "symmetric, sensible and reasoned" in your opinion 
does not mean that I have to agree with it at all. I do not. In my 
opinion it is fundamentally flawed. It is your words that make it seem 
as if I have a problem with the English language Wikipedia. I have a 
problem with this policy. Talk about good faith by making it seem as if 
I have by inference a problem with "anyone" of this project.

The fact that something is symmetric and reasoned does not mean that it 
is sensible in the eyes of those that do not push this particular POV. I 
can quote Brion who says: "tell the idiots who are trying to push a 
ban-on-sight policy".
