[Wikimania-l] Wikimania 2008 date & first IRC public meeting

Would I be classified as a volunteer if I am on the online team, but not 
attending Wikimania this time around due to personal commitments around the 
dates specified?

I will be, however, monitoring IRC and helping update and translate the wiki 
from my home town of Brisbane during my spare time and over the days of 
Wikimania.
