I don't know of any work that has been done in the area of online
group/community psychology, specifically community cohesion. This is another
area in which Wikipedia could break ground. I truly believe that what is
going to ensure the ongoing quality, endurance and success of the Wikipedia
Project are not technical innovations but, rather, the health and cohesion
of the group which creates and maintains it.
