This position however is not a solution.
The other position proposed is a solution.
 
Anybody, with the right search terms "Little brown bear that sells honey on  
late night television..."
can find almost anything with a *top page* hit.
 
The proposal is to noindex those sub-prime pages completely.
Completely unindexed, no index whatsoever, not on the 999th page, not  
anywhere.
Hope that's more clear.
