I think it is quite rare for there to be no response from the WMF. 
Sometimes, yes, we are not even asked, and all of a sudden there is a 
weird story based on a misunderstanding.  But we have a pretty good 
track record of responding to legitimate press inquiries in a timely 
fashion.
