Kurt, its not really wrong. If you are an author, but working for an
employer who has a claim to your intellectual output - you are still the
agent authorizing use of your work. Its correct that you can be the author
and not have rights to specific material at a given time, there are many
circumstances under which this is true. But the original designation of
rights is generally yours.
