I can volunteer to be the liaison between the "summer of code" coders  
and Wikimedia... but I would need someone from Wikimedia to contact  
me. In 2007 the mentoring organizations had to submit their  
applications between March 5 and 12th so we would want to get moving  
sooner than later.
