- this is a notification of vandalism on 2001/12/26, but it was
clearly an established issue by then.

The block log doesn't go back that far, either, so we can't use this
method to find an early vandal.

Looks like it predates our ability to easily find it - would
nostalgia.wp be worth looking at?
