It is not a straw man. It is routine. And it hurts real people.
To you, it is one of 2 million articles. To the victim, it is a top
google hit on his own name.
But in any event, I am not trying to prove anything. I am proposing
that we have a long way to go before we can feel happy about the
situation with respect to real people being victimized by vandals.
People are using Wikipedia to carry out vendettas against people. I
make no apologies for saying that we should think hard about how to stop
that from happening.
