If I'm not mistaken, you could even selectively ignore people, using a
filter something akin to this:

Matches: from:(lunasantin at gmail.com) to:(wikien-l at lists.wikimedia.org)
Do this: Skip Inbox, Delete it

In this case, emails I sent directly to you would still get through, but I
believe posts I sent to wikien-l would be deleted before you had to deal
with them. A slightly more elaborate filter could handle multiple to/from
addresses, but this is a start.
