Durova was planning a block.

Now Durova has stepped up and done the right thing, and gain back some
(much? all? more than before?) of the respect she lost.  The identity
of these "other five sleuths" who apparently lack Durova's honour is
the object of Alec's inquiry, so far as anyone can read.
