They just had their first really bad admin-vs-admin fights, and think
something like the en:wp AC could do the job.

If you go to the end of the talk page, you'll see Pfctdayelise
proposing a sort of mediated arbitration - where the parties pick an
uninvolved admin who's willing to try to sort things out.

The Commons community has nothing like the drama en:wp does.
