I don't know, but I know how we should respond. We must encourage as 
many people
as possible to swamp meta demanding that the essay be returned, shout loudly
that it is censorship when they do not, and then act all offended on our blogs
when they try to explain to us how meta normally functions. Oh, and don't
forget the profanity.
