Is anybody suggesting that expert opinion should be treated as fact? I 
think I've only seen people say that we should be able to use expert 
opinion as expert opinion, whether that opinion appeared in a New York 
Times interview or on the expert's blog, neither of which is 
fact-checked. I thought that was a pretty uncontroversial thing to do on 
Wikipedia.
