It's about as inappropriate as a blanket statement that you've never seen
a blog entry that was reliable enough to be used as source material.  I'm
not really seeing the problem here.  It *is* backwards, it *is*
antiquated.  When the mainstream media consistently uses blogs as reliable
information for their stories, there's absolutely no reason why we can't
do the same thing.
