By the way, since these list archives are public, I'm assuming that 
anything that someone said in response to my query is basically OK to quote 
them on for an article?  Please let me know if you said anything you would 
*not* like to be quoted on.  Mainly I'd just like to give proper credit in 
some cases where something sounded like a good idea, like Sheldon's 
proposal to have users with verified credentials stamp the stories that 
they have "approved".
